In this Q Chamber event, we put the spotlight on the dynamic (and sometimes unconventional) journeys that out and proud individuals have taken in their careers to date. Careers are often not linear paths, especially in the reality of today’s changing employment landscape. We want to showcase diversity, leadership and representation on how LGBTQ+ talents enrich the workplace as we build their careers.

There will be a panel discussion on “Proud Careers: Navigating Professional Journeys”. Our panelists have broken barriers, embraced unpredictability and have inspiring professional journeys they will share.

We are also pleased to feature a brief presentation on Inclusive HR to show how workplace benefits can be equitable and inclusive so that every individual can feel welcomed, valued and empowered.

  • With Rei Kurohi as moderator, and Bryan Choong, Michelle JN Lim, Clarence Singam and Denise Yu as panelists, our speakers have spent career time in diverse sectors such as the arts, banking and finance, consulting, education, non-profit, tech, media, startups and even the military. They will share their stories and career wisdom.

  • Workplace benefits and policies can cater to the diverse needs of employees.

This segment on Inclusive HR will be presented by Ahalya Arjuna Director of Employee Advocacy and Gayatri Panickar APAC Benefits Manager at PayPal.

Mark your calendar for 9 November 2023 (Thursday) from 6:30 pm to 9 pm. Light bites and beverages will be provided.

This is a private invitation-only event. Attendance is limited to confirmed attendees due to event capacity. All confirmed guests will receive an email with further event details.

Registration for this event is now closed as we have reached maximum capacity for the event space due to the wonderful response.
