Q Chamber is Singapore’s first LGBTQ+ and allied chamber of commerce, and strives to connect businesses and individuals to promote our shared economic interests and values of diversity, equity and inclusion. We believe this initiative can help to build LGBTQ+ representation, allyship and leadership towards a better Singapore society and business community.

Do mark your calendars for 16 December 2022 (Friday) from 6:30 pm to 9 pm. Attendance is limited to invited guests only due to event space capacity.

At Q Chamber, we believe the visibility of out and proud LGBTQ+ role models and strong allies strengthen our cause for a more inclusive society. There are many documented benefits for companies that get inclusion right: improved financial performance, stronger spirit of innovation, better staff retention and a more engaged workforce.

For this event, we are focusing on the theme of “Coming Out in the Workplace”. Our speakers from Carousell, Dignité Brands, META and Unilever will share their real-world experiences of being authentic in the workplace and in their personal lives, and how to overcome some of the challenges of coming out.

Whether you are a new entrant to the workforce or you are thinking about how to come out in your workplace, there will be some useful takeaways for you at this event. You will also have a chance to network with representatives from some companies that care about creating truly inclusive workplaces.

Our panelists are Daniel J Buenas, Director Strategic Projects & Communications Founder’s Office from Carousell, Rain Khoo, Founder from Dignité Brands, Karen Teo, Vice President from Meta and Joaquin Orozco, Senior Global Brand Director from Unilever.
